A new report was released yesterday by the Kaiser Family Health Foundation ranking states based on their funding of health programs for the unemployed and uninsured. While states are striving to meet the challenges of rising health costs for those who can least afford it, there is a growing number of ministries that are looking for ways to reach out to those who need it.
One such ministry is the Lawndale Christian Health Center in Chicago, IL. Wayne Detmer takes us on a tour and Art Jones tells some of the history.
