This weekend nearly 300,000 sermons will be preached across America. I wonder how well they’ll be heard and remembered. I know that in my own life, I have heard a lot of great sermons, yet I realize that I don’t remember most of them. This led me to interview Arthur Jackson of Holy Trinity Church in Hyde Park as well as James McDonald of Peoria’s Providence Church to help me better understand how to listen to a sermon.

Here are a few extras of clips that didn’t make it into the feature.
