Yesterday the US Senate unanimously approved to extend the mandated deadline for digital conversion of broadcast television. A similiar recommendation is expected to be approved this evening by the US House of Representatives. This feature looks at the reasons for the proposed extension with Bob Powers (Vice President of Government Relations for the National Religious Broadcasters), Dave Irwin (Spokesperson for the AARP) and Tricha Anjali (Assistant Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology).
