Ballot initiatives across the country are hoping to introduce amendments to state constitutions that define personhood as “every human being from the beginning of biological development.” Supporters of personhood amendments hope such action will eventually lead to the reversal of Roe v. Wade, but there are some in the pro-life movement questioning their ability to succeed. This feature takes a look at this issue.

So it looks like there are two battle fronts. One is try to limit abortion using many different laws, regulations and limitations and another to achieve a once and for all, sweeping amendment to the Constitution. It certainly looks daunting. But like they say: “Shoot for the stars and reach the moon”. This would be a true American Dream.
