Many families have personal stories they remember today as we celebrate Veteran’s Day.  This feature is a personal look at one woman’s recollections of life during the Second World War.

  1. Great interview Paul! One of my favorites!
I love these first-hand stories and it is too bad that we are losing so many veterans from this generation…

  2. Thank-you, Paul, for the interview with my mother. I have the letters my dad wrote her while he was away during the war. She saved them, and after his death I read them all and was given a glimpse of how difficult it was for them. So many others had it much worse, for their separation wasn’t as long as most, and he, thank God, came home.
