Earlier this week marked the anniversary of the death of Hans Christian Andersen, one of the most beloved children’s writers of all time. This feature takes a look at his life and works.

Guests include Kathy Mullins, President of the Ugly Duckling Foundation and the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Solvang, CA, and Kristian Buur, Commercial Adviser with the Danish Consulate in Chicago, IL.

Story excerpts were told by my wonderful wife Pamela Butler.

Most of Andersen’s stories can be found online. One particularly good site is: http://hca.gilead.org.il/
