The political, social and religious unrest in the country of Iran over the last 30 years has led to a large number of emigrants from that country; as a result, there are many Iranian communities all over the world. One such community is in Vancouver, British Columbia. This feature highlights one ministry reaching out to this population through the medium of radio: Radio Aramesh.

Kourosh Bagheri is the founder and director of Radio Aramesh. To visit their Farsi website, click here. If you’d like to read their Spring Newsletter in English, click here.

Personal Note: While traveling to Africa earlier this year I sat next to Mr. Howard who attends the same church as Kourosh.  It is through him that I got in contact with Mr. Bagheri.  I am always amazed at the connections that God lines up in His way and in His time.

  1. What a powerful testimony! I am amazed at God’s work in the world. The work the Kourosh does gives witness to the work of the Spirit. It takes those from “within” to reach their own. Wow! Thanks be to God! Irene Loewen
