Here in the western hemisphere the tropical storm and hurricane season has once again begun with storms like last week’s Ana and now Hurricane Bill headed toward Canada’s maritime provinces.

This feature with Dr. Gerry Bell, Lead Seasonal Hurricane Forecaster for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Dr. Larry Vardiman, Chairman of the Astro/geophysics Department for the Institute of Creation Research; takes a look at these powerful storms and how they’re an important part in the global weather system.
