When you look at the church worldwide today, there are many things that unite us. Unfortunately, it seems as though there are many more things that separate us–issues of doctrine, church polity and Christian practice (just to name a few).

So how do we honor Christ’s high-priestly prayer that “we would be one as He and the Father are one?” This conversation with Dr. Mark Ross, Associate Professor of Theology at Erskine Theological Seminary in Columbia, SC, takes a look at this difficult issue.

His article entitled: “In Essentials Unity, In Non-Essential Liberty, In All Things Charity” was published in the September 2009 issue of TableTalk Magazine.
