The term “Human Rights” is a key phrase used by religious leaders, politicians and social movements alike to motivate and sometimes manipulate public opinion and policy. There are many ways to think about the subject as we consider some of the important issues facing our society today.

I recently contacted George Crawford, a Christian judge in California and faculty member at the Master’s College, who presents his perspective on what the Bible has to say about the matter.

This feature is far from the final word, but will hopefully generate some great conversation in your own homes and community as you seek out what the Bible says about the topic.

If you’d like to hear a previous conversation I had with Mr. Crawford about the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights from last December, click here.
